I've been using AI to assist me with retouching for quite some time now, but only with explicit approval from my clients. I predominantly use Gemini Nano Banana within Photoshop, but also use ChatGPT to assist with ideas and prompts. Remarkably I've found that ChatGPT seems to better at prompting Gemini Nano Banana than Gemini itself!

This was a ongoing project for a new AI specialist agency working for the mother company of the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klien brands. My job as part of larger global team was to take supplied AI generated models and improve both the likeness of the model and the product to supplied target images. This quite often involved improving the overall resolution and other details including hands, feet, hair and skin and fabric and textures, including clothing and shoes styling. This was achieved using AI prompts within Photoshop in conjuction with conventional retouching methods.
